Having raised his own children here, who are now nurturing the next generation in their hometown, Denny is truly committed to the community. With decades of dedicated service in city roles and as a dynamic influence on multiple municipal boards, including the city council, his expertise in Grand Haven’s finance and infrastructure is unmatched. 

After an impressive 36-year career with Grand Haven Public Works, 14 of which he spent as a crew leader, Denny's leadership and passion for the city shine through. His 12 years on the city council, coupled with active involvement on multiple municipal boards, underscore his unwavering dedication to Grand Haven's prosperity. Denny’s vast experience and heartfelt devotion ensure that he will continue to champion the city's growth and success for generations to come.

Denny is committed to being vigilant in budgeting and timeline, ensuring that repairs and upgrades are completed promptly and efficiently. With his extensive experience, he will prioritize smart investments that function as cost-effective solutions, helping to build a stronger, more resilient Grand Haven for generations to come.
